About the artist: 

My name is Alena, and my entire life has been inextricably linked with creativity. Although I am a philologist by education (I graduated from the Kharkiv Academy of Culture), my passion for painting has always been my true calling. Even during my studies, I never abandoned my brush, perfecting my craft through studying world classics and copying the works of great masters. Today, I live and work in Ukraine, creating paintings that adorn private collections in Ukraine and the United States.

Creative vision and technique

I work in the classical technique of oil painting. This noble medium allows for exceptional depth of color and durability of the canvas.

My inspiration comes from books, nature, the subtle melody of music, and the nostalgia of old photographs. In every still life, landscape, or portrait, I strive to convey not just an image, but a feeling:
